Job Description

Our client, a leading distribution center specializing in efficient warehouse operations, is seeking a Forklift Operator experienced operating Cherry Pickers and Reach Trucks to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations team supporting material handling and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Kansas City, MO

Pay Range: $20.50

Shift:
A-1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 5:30am-6pm & every other Thursday 5:30pm - 4am.
A-2 : Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday, 5:30am - 6pm 

What's the Job?

• Pull orders and prepare shipments for delivery
• Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely
• Put product away in designated storage areas
• Operate reach trucks, cherry pickers, and other forklift equipment
• Maintain accurate inventory records using RF handheld devices

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year experience operating forklifts in a distribution environment
• Certification as a forklift operator for battery and propane forklifts
• Ability to work on your feet all day and lift objects up to 40 lbs.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Basic math and computer skills, with the ability to read and write in English
