Position Overview
The Fire Alarm Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining safety standards and ensuring that fire alarm systems are functioning properly to protect lives and property.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems to identify any faults or deficiencies.
• Document inspection results, maintenance activities, and corrective actions taken for compliance records.
• Maintain knowledge of current fire safety regulations and codes to ensure adherence during inspections.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding inspection findings, recommendations, and necessary repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service while addressing client inquiries and concerns related to fire alarm systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in fire alarm inspection preferred.
• Proven experience in inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire safety regulations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems related to fire alarms.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and provide clear documentation of inspections.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate records.
