Akkodis is seeking an Extrusion Technician for a Contract job with a client in Southington, CT . The ideal Extrusion Technician will have experience in machine setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance, with a strong focus on accurate documentation and process parameter verification.

Rate Range: $25/hour to $27/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Extrusion Technician job responsibilities include:

• Performing machine setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting

• Conducting equipment maintenance and basic repairs

• Verifying process parameters and completing required documentation

• Operating and maintaining moisture analyzers and extrusion equipment

• Assisting in training new technicians and supporting other departments as needed

Desired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred

• 2+ years of experience in extrusion or related field

• Strong understanding of extrusion equipment and processes

• Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs

• Experience with process parameter verification and documentation

• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
