Overview Dental Receptionist and Assistant Coastal Carolina Endodontics We are an efficient and effective practice. We offer a no nonsense but empathetic approach to care (per a patient review) and we are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dedicated team. You’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in delivering an excellent patient experience and supporting the smooth operation of our dental practice. In addition to front desk responsibilities, this role will also be cross‑trained as a Dental Assistant, allowing you to support the clinical team and float wherever needed. No prior assisting experience is required—full training will be provided. Schedule: 7:15am – 5:00pm Mon, Tues and Thurs and 7:15am – 4:30pm Friday Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned Qualifications Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years of dental front office experience Preferred Skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Experience with dental practice management software Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures We Offer Competitive Compensation Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Flexible Spending Accounts, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and much more!
