Overview Join to apply for the Correctional Officer 1 role at State of Arizona . Bonuses & Stipends Base salary + 5% at Lewis (Buckeye, AZ) and Safford Facilities. Base salary + 10% at Eyman (Florence, AZ) and Globe Facilities. Base salary + 15% at Winslow and Apache (Winslow, AZ) Facilities.

HIRING BONUS – $5,000.

Additional – $2,500 upon completion of COTA, another $2,500 after 6 months of full time employment. Job Summary We are actively seeking talented individuals for Correctional Officer positions at our Eyman, Globe, Tucson, Perryville, Goodyear, Lewis, Winslow, Apache, Safford, and Fort Grant facilities. Job Duties Ensure the security of the inmate population within the facility perimeter. Provide supervision and guidance to inmates. Conduct thorough pat-downs and strip-searches to maintain safety. Effectively de-escalate situations. Initiate and complete reports accurately and promptly. Respond promptly to emergency situations as required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs) Communication and interpersonal skills. Physical fitness and stamina. High standards of ethics, integrity, and professionalism. Selective Preference(s) Be at least 18 years of age. Possess a High School Diploma or a Graduate Equivalency Degree (GED). Hold a Valid Driver’s License. Have no felony convictions. Provide proof of legal U.S. residency. Pre-Employment Requirements Background investigation. Tuberculosis (TB) test during orientation and annually thereafter.
