Corporate Litigation Paralegal
A well-established regional law firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its Canton, Ohio office. This full-time, on-site position offers an opportunity to work independently on a variety of legal matters while supporting attorneys across multiple practice areas.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences
Conduct factual investigations and prepare exhibits, charts, and case materials
Manage both paper and electronic discovery, including organization and production of documents
Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, subpoenas, and related legal documents
Create and maintain case-management databases and track deadlines
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and external contacts via phone, email, and in person
Provide administrative and case-related support as directed by attorneys
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with Paralegal Certificate, associate degree in paralegal studies, or comparable experience preferred
Experience in a law firm or corporate legal department preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent grammar and accuracy
High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
Strong time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Current Notary Public commission required
Compensation & Benefits
Salary commensurate with experience ($55,000–$65,000)
