Position Title: OSP Program Manager (Joint Trench)

Location: Austin, TX – Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to plan, execute, and deliver OSP engineering projects across diverse markets.
• OSP Network Expansion Oversee high-level design planning, optical design management, and build sequencing. Manage permit submittals and approvals across jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with Google Fiber standards and municipal requirements.
• Quality Assurance & Documentation Review and audit splice documentation, enforce engineering and splicing standards, and manage as-built ingestion for project turnover and acceptance.
• Project & Vendor Management Own project pipelines, budgets, schedules, and resource planning. Track vendor performance, approve invoices, manage bill of materials, and maintain the engineering schedule.
• Clear Communication Deliver timely updates and insights to internal and external stakeholders. Ensure proper project scoping and seamless handoff for network acceptance.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in program/project management for large-scale, capital-intensive technical projects.
• Proven success in vendor/resource management, project scheduling, capital tracking, and commercial negotiations.
• Hands-on experience with telco infrastructure, FTTx operations, or OSP projects using CAD, GIS systems, and FTTH records.
• Deep understanding of splicing documentation, fiber complements, and various PON architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience driving operational improvements and developing scalable workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects under pressure.
• Excellent conflict resolution and deadline management capabilities.
