Coil Builder, 3rd Shift
Location: York, PA
Shift: 3rd Shift | Full-Time
Pay: $22.96 - $26.44 + ($1.50 Shift Premium)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES \n - • Identifies proper parts to complete assemblies by reading specification sheet.
\n - • Assembles parts to specification.
\n - • Builds frame; installs fins, tubes, hardware, and other purchased parts into coil body per specification
\n - • Correctly labels coils with build day and Mfg #.
\n - • Moves and repositions coils to the expansion area using cranes.
\n - • Completes appropriate paperwork to include quality sticker and daily hours.
\n - • Inspect coils for split collars, dented hairpins and damaged fins.
\n - • Reworks or disassembles coils that have been damaged or built incorrectly.
\n - • Utilizes basic hand tools such as pliers, wrenches and hand drills.
\n - • Trains new or existing employees, if necessary.
\n - • Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
\n - • Wears all required PPE.
\n - • Performs other routine duties.
\n - • Responsible for reporting work related injuries and near misses to supervision.
\n - • Responsible for wearing all required PPE and following applicable safety/environmental rules.
\n - • Responsible for correcting or reporting unsafe conditions observed within the plant.

MATH ABILITY \n - Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
\n - Ability to read a tape measure.
\n - Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
\n
\n
REASONING ABILITY \n - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or two-step instructions.
\n - Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
\n
\n
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE \n - High School Diploma or Equivalent Education preferred
\n - Read and write English
\n - Knowledge of company safety policies
\n - Able to read Tape measure
\n - Prior Machine Operating experience REQUIRED
\n
