Cloud Engineer to join our client's dynamic team.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $45/hr - $60/hr Depending on experience
Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and will be responsible for managing, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions. The Cloud Engineer will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance their cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities of the Cloud Engineer: - Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure.
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications in the cloud.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources for cost and performance efficiency.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues.
- Document cloud architecture and operational procedures.
Required Experience/Skills for the Cloud Engineer: - 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of Azure services, including VMs, Azure DevOps, Azure AD, and ARM templates.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and cloud security practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Cloud Engineer: - Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Azure Security Engineer.
- Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Knowledge of database management and data migration in a cloud environment.
Education Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
