Job Description

Join a compassionate healthcare team in the Southeastern United States region as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). This role involves providing essential patient care, observing and reporting any changes in patient conditions, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked patient environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient admissions, including orientation to unit routines and equipment.
  • Respond promptly to patient needs, either through direct assistance or by notifying appropriate staff.
  • Support the nursing care plan by performing delegated patient care tasks.
  • Ensure patient safety by properly using equipment and supplies.
  • Manage access to medication and supply rooms to retrieve necessary patient care items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the patient care area.
  • Participate actively in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.
  • Engage in educational and performance improvement activities.
  • Perform waived testing and maintain required skills per unit competency.
  • Demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction, patient flow, and hospital capacity goals.
Education and Certifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current Nursing Assistant certification and registration with the appropriate state registry.
Experience and Skills
  • No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
  • Strong guest relations and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to read and understand English.
  • Flexibility in work tasks and schedules.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new techniques.
  • Knowledge of age-specific patient care considerations.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work variable shifts including days.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and patient turning.
  • Visual and auditory acuity necessary for patient observation.
  • Exposure to blood and body fluids with adherence to safety protocols.
