We are seeking a Behavioral Health Technician I to join our team. In this role, you will provide direct and supportive care to clients/patients in a variety of settings, including residential facilities and withdrawal management. Your duties will include overseeing daily activities, health monitoring, crisis intervention, facilitating group education and structured activities, and transporting clients as needed. You will also work closely with the treatment team to ensure the safety, well-being, and progress of clients, creating a supportive and therapeutic environment. Key Responsibilities include admitting, supervising, monitoring, transferring, and discharging clients/patients; monitoring vital signs and withdrawal symptoms; overseeing medication administration; documenting medical and behavioral information; facilitating client supervision and group activities; handling crisis calls; educating and redirecting clients; maintaining a clean and safe environment; attending trainings and meetings; and completing required documentation. Education and experience qualifications require a high school education or equivalent and two years of responsible employment experience in human services or a related field, with preferred qualifications including a Bachelor's degree, MAADC I or II, or behavioral health experience. Additional requirements include certifications in medication administration, first aid, CPR, and behavioral management training, as well as a valid driver's license and the ability to operate company vehicles. Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and communicate effectively.
