Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Azure Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will collaborate with global teams to drive technical solutions and support ongoing cloud initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Design and deploy Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual networks, virtual machines, storage solutions, databases, and platform-as-a-service (PaaS) offerings.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Bicep, Terraform, and scripting technologies.
• Configure and manage Azure services including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Automation, and Azure Resource Manager.
• Optimize cloud environments for cost-efficiency, scalability, and performance using Azure-native tools and recommendations.
• Collaborate with offshore teams to guide implementation, review deployments, and ensure compliance with established standards.
• Facilitate the migration of workloads from on-premises environments or other cloud platforms to Azure.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to networking, compute, storage, and identity management within Azure.
• Document architectural designs, configurations, and operational processes to support knowledge sharing and compliance.
• Address and remediate security findings as part of cloud infrastructure management.
