Goodrich Auto Works is looking for a full time painter and paint prepper to join our expanding team. Excellent pay, benefits, and continued training. Requirements: ability to multi tasks, self motivated, team player, take pride in accomplishments, positive attitude and work experience-minimum of two years in a paint room/ shop setting.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces as needed.
• Strip paint from vehicles using appropriate techniques and tools.
• Select and mix paint and coatings according to specifications.
• Apply primer, paint, and clear coat using spray guns and other application tools.
• Ensure high-quality finish by conducting final inspections and touch-ups.
• Follow safety standards and protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and operating equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with technicians and other team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products to continually improve skills and service.

**Qualifications:**

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in automotive refinishing or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as an Auto Body Painter or Professional Prepper (minimum 1 year preferred).
• Proficiency in using spray guns, sanders, and other painting equipment.
• Strong knowledge of paint mixing and color matching techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.

Pay:

• Prepper pay based on hourly pay rate.
• Painter pay based on flat rate pay scale

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
