G&T Auto Parts is a locally owned and operated NAPA auto parts store that has been servicing Warwick, NY and the surrounding areas for over 60 years. We take pride in providing our customers with fast, knowledgeable and enthusiastic service. We are looking to add a part time Parts Counter Person to our team.

Duties:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding automotive services and products.
• Manage sales transactions using POS systems, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and order fulfillment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns, negotiating solutions, and following up on service satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and timely service delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive service and retail sales, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage inventory effectively. This role involves assisting customers with their automotive needs, providing exceptional service, and ensuring a smooth operation at the counter.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in automotive repair or service is highly desirable
• Knowledge of automobiles (preferred)
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both in person and over the phone
• Desire to train and learn new skills
• Ability to lift 60 pounds and be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, friendly attitude
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance, and a strong work ethic
• The ability to work well with the public and balance multiple customers at a time
