Job Description
Davis, Arneil Law Firm, LLP, a premier North Central Washington law firm, is currently seeking a full-time associate attorney for its Wenatchee office, with experience or interest in litigation to provide legal support in various practice areas, with a focus on criminal prosecution and general civil practice areas.
All candidates must be a member in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association or be taking the next scheduled bar exam.
*The ideal candidate will be expected to: *
· Draft, analyze, and interpret contracts and legal documents,
· Conduct legal research on complex issues,
· Assist with discovery processes,
· Assist with trial preparation and trial,
· Appear independently for motion practice, and
· Independently perform work to achieve client goals.
*The ideal candidate will have the following skills:*
· Excellent research, writing and critical thinking skills,
· Detail oriented,
· Quick learner and ability to improvise when needed, and
· Strong communication skills.
*We offer competitive compensation and benefits including:*
Base Salary Range:
· $75,000-$120,000
· Additional bonus structure is available.
Insurance:
· Medical/disability 100% paid by employer for employee.
· Dental/life 75% paid by employer for employee.
Paid Leave:
· 10 days of paid vacation per year
· 11 paid holidays per year
Retirement:
· Retirement/profit sharing plan (employer typically pays 12-15% with no employee match required)
Other:
· We encourage professional development by paying up to $750 per year for continuing education expenses. We also pay local and state bar association dues.
Partner Track:
· Associates may be considered for Partner after 5 years of employment, dependent upon performance. Early consideration may be made for lateral associate hires.
