Accounting Clerk

LSI is seeking a professional Cost Accounting Clerk to join their growing team in Sioux Center, IA. This position will calculate product costs for each production run. They will track raw material lots and finished goods inventory, and monitor yields. The Cost Accounting Clerk will also enter accounts payable and receive inventory into stock via ERP system. This is an on-site position offering a Monday through Friday 1st shift work schedule.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Track raw material and further processed lots in inventory.
• Verify items heading to storage for freezer and cooler against warehouse receipts.
• Maintain communication with copackers to ensure data is entered in a timely manner.
• Attach production lotted inventory to Accounts Receivable invoices after completion of production process.
• Enter Accounts Payable for vendors as well as receipt of inventory into ERP system stock.

Experience Requirements:

• 1 to 4 years of accounting-related work experience.
• Excellent math and analytical skills.
• Strong reading and writing skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements:

• Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
• May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
• May need to access files, supplies, and equipment.
• Work activity is performed in an office, open-partition, cubicle environment.
