Dr. Nafiseh Mollaei is a Postdoctoral Scholar specializing in Biomedical Data Science within the Biological Science Division at the University of Chicago, bringing extensive expertise to her current role. Previously, she served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Loyola University Chicago, where she was honored with the prestigious I-Corps Seed Award for her innovative proposal in AI-based Clinical Decision Science. Holding a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from NOVA University of Lisbon (Portugal), Dr. Mollaei also provided support to physicians at Volkswagen in making decisions regarding worker injuries on production lines. Notably, her previous projects include the collaborative Operator 4.0 initiative with MIT, aimed at addressing work-related musculoskeletal disorders. Additionally, Dr. Mollaei is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in STEM, as evidenced by her involvement in leadership initiatives such as Women in STEM at UChicago. She speaks in different industries and conferences about AI in the health industry.
