Eva Szalkai Csaky, PhD MSF is the Executive Director of the Hunt Institute for Engineering & Humanity, an interdisciplinary hub focused on developing and scaling technology-based solutions to challenges facing under-resourced communities around the world. Previously Eva held various positions at the International Finance Corporation, the largest global development institution focused on the private sector, where she was a pioneer of inclusive climate finance starting in 1997, winning multiple awards. Eva has 25 years experience with leveraging transformational technologies, innovative financial mechanisms, public policies and social entrepreneurial approaches for climate-smart and inclusive economic development. Eva has served as advisor to the G20, OECD, UN agencies and various US organizations and she is the co-founder of the Global Inclusive Economy Society and the Inclusive Economy Consortium. She has an MS in Finance from George Washington University and a PhD in Public Policy from Duke University.
