Alexandra Oleksiuk is the Business Development Manager for World Business Chicago (WBC), a public-private, non-profit partnership that drives inclusive economic growth and job creation, supports business, and promotes Chicago as a leading global city. At WBC, Alexandra works to demonstrate Chicago’s strengths as an innovation and technology hub to both domestic and international companies, most recently by leading strategic initiatives for the city’s FinTech sector.
Before WBC, Alexandra served as the Bureau Expert for the Chicago Trade Office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), a Polish government agency centered on increasing Polish export output into select markets and foreign direct investment into Poland.
Alexandra is active in various civic and business organizations, including Sister Cities International and Le French Tech. Alexandra graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Anthropology from Vanderbilt University.
