Alexandra Oleksiuk is the Senior Manager of Regional Research for World Business Chicago (WBC) a public-private, non-profit partnership that drives inclusive economic growth and job creation, supports business, and promotes Chicago as a leading global city.
At WBC, Alexandra works to demonstrate Chicago’s regional strengths and assets through the research arm of the Greater Chicago Economic Partnership (GCEP), an innovative partnership across 7 counties that comprise the Chicagoland region. During her time at WBC, Alexandra has also promoted Chicago as an innovation and technology hub to both domestic and foreign companies, most recently by leading strategic initiatives for the city’s FinTech and Climate sector efforts.
Prior to WBC, Alexandra served as the Bureau Expert for the Chicago Trade Office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), a Polish government agency centered on increasing Polish export output into select markets and foreign direct investment into Poland. Alexandra is active in various civic and business organizations, including Sister Cities International and AI 2030. Alexandra graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Anthropology from Vanderbilt University.
